Sue Kendall is passionate about her work.
She has been an educator for over 30 years, including most elementary grades and special education, but primarily as a secondary math instructor. Sue taught
in San Ramon Unified School District in Northern California for most of her career and hers was considered a "model teaching" classroom that other teachers visited often. She was a mentor to other teachers, as well as a coach for new teachers. She has headed up more than one Math Task Force in her district, coordinated and taught staff development workshops and is now the math coach for that district.
Sue conducts teacher seminars nationwide to teach strategies that help students understand mathematics. She has been presenting Hands on Equations in the Western U.S. for five years while also conducting a variety of workshops centering on math concept development for grades K-9. She has authored a booklet of daily mental math for upper elementary and middle school students. Sue's credentials include a B.A. degree from UC Santa Barbara and Master's degree from Cal State University in San Diego.
