Stand Up Math provides workshops for students and teachers that instill mathematical concepts while focusing on number sense. Students develop a spirit of inquiry that fosters outside the box thinking and are empowered to take risks, take responsibility for their learning, and pose problems as well as solve them. Students making excellent grades in math often have little understanding of the math they are computing. Stand Up Math workshops empower teachers to provide the interactive environment necessary for students to understand and apply the math they are learning. Workshops are tailor-made to meet specific needs, helping teachers and administrators with any math concepts and grade levels they choose, from Kindergarten through Algebra I.
